Caldwell Care of Cascadia focuses on patient-centered rehabilitation. With our in-house rehabilitation gym, we utilize a comprehensive approach of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies. By doing so, our team can work together with the patient to achieve the highest results possible. In addition to exceptional rehabilitation, we are partnered with an outstanding team of physicians that specialize in rehabilitation to ensure the most desired outcomes for each patient are achieved. Caldwell Care is pleased to offer rehabilitation therapy seven days a week by highly qualified and licensed personnel.
If you do require a more long-term stay option, our skilled nursing facility offers a variety of conveniences and amenities to make Caldwell Care of Cascadia as homelike and comfortable as it can be both for the residents and for their families. We offer services in our facility that include individualized attention and care from our experienced and skilled nursing staff such as assistance with activities of daily living from simple guidance with dressing to complete care for all your loved ones needs. Caldwell Care also provides all our residents with an Activities Program run by our Activities Director, social services for our residents and families as they navigate through their journey of long term care living, and more. Our goal is for our residents to recover from medical conditions with dignity while receiving the quality, compassionate care they deserve.
Memory care is a long-term care service offered at Caldwell Care of Cascadia, especially designed for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders in which there is loss of cognitive abilities. This is also known as Alzheimer’s care or dementia care. Our facility is staffed by professionals who are trained to provide this specialized care. Our program is specifically designed to provide appropriate medical care, stimulation and support in a homelike, secure environment. This type of dedicated care may be the best option for an older adult with severe memory loss or cognitive decline who is no longer able to live independently. The diagnosis of dementia often carries with it difficult to control symptoms and behaviors. Sometimes it becomes impossible to be cared for in the home environment or assisted living. Our caring professional staff may be able to provide the surroundings and care that would be most helpful for your loved one.
Caldwell Care of Cascadia also provides psychiatric services, for our patients and residents. Individual care plans are structured to best meet the needs of those struggling with cognitive decline, psychosis, anxiety, mood disorders and other behavior-altering challenges. The Behavioral Health program is overseen by the Medical Director, Larry E. Banta MD CMD FAPA, a specialist in neuropsychiatry, and Social Work team.
